Question by Zach: Has anyone gotten Arthro-IonX for your dog. My dog has worsening arthritis.?
He’s an 11 year old yellow lab. He is already using glucosamine. Recently, he has gotten bad arthritis. He stumbles a little going up and down stairs, has red upper arms (from licking them because they hurt from arthritis), and he doesn’t run around often. I don’t know if it will help when we get a Chicago summer; this has been a nasty winter. Has anybody used Arthro-IonX that could tell me whether there are real results?

We had this with one of our yellow labs, We used rymadel and warm blankets. ( warmed them in the dryer for a few minutes.)

we had 4 more yrs with her and then she developed bone cancer, We had put her to sleep but this is the worset case senserio.yes this has been a nasty winter. I would take him to the vet and see. An xray will tell you location of arthritis. ( most vets require one for this is a rx medication)

Good luck..give the dog a pat and a treat for me….

anytime a dog stops eating, it is serious. take him back to the vet or at least call your vet back and explain what is going on. They are not doing enough if u ask me.

I just found out recently that my 1 year old hound/beagle mix has pretty severe hip dysplasia in both hips and he is developing arthritis already. He has a consultation with a surgeon comeing up, but I was wondering if anyone can give their personal experiences after the surgery? Like what to expect, best types of physical therapy etc. He is not a big dog, he is only 43 pounds and he is full grown. He is very active so he does not have any weight problems.
