Question by C B: canine bowel incontinence – looking for a cure?
My Huskey/Lab/Angel is 14. He has arthritis in his back which his vet says is pressing on a nerve limiting his ability to feel the need to eliminate a stool. She prescribed Previcox(?) and another anitinflamitory. These had no effect on continence but did loosen his usually firm stool. She says for more money she can more compeletly diagnose this then can offer an expensive surgery he may not survive and if he does the surgery may not work.
His new vet has completed 5 treatments of accupuncture for the arthritis and hopefully the incontinence. This has had no effect.
She has prescribed “Body Sore” (Psoraiea-Bu, Zhi, Peony-Chi Shao Yao… etc.) and Bu Zhong Yi Qi (Atractylodes – Ba Zhu, Bupleurum – Chai Hu, Citrus – Chen Pi… more.)
He also gets Pet naturals Glucosamine HCL 2250 mg, MSM 1200 mg Chondroitin Sulfate 400 mg and Nuti-Vet Asprin 600 mg

Wow, how bout just going simple??? Try prune juice, you never know. It works for my dog but than again, my dog doesn’t have all those complications. I’m truly sorry and I hope everything works out for you.

Question by bella57: looking for a good dog trainer who is experienced in fear aggression and is not afraid of a big dog!?
I live in the south suburbs of chicago, il.and I have a 3 1/2 yr. old black lab that was abused when he was a little puppy. He now has fear aggression and is afraid to let anyone get too close to him and pet him. I have a good relationship with him since I showed him he can trust me, but I don’t know how to get him to trust anyone else.I have had trainers in the past but they were either too expensive or they lived to far away and it was a problem getting him there because he is too big for my car and he won’t behave. He also has severe hip dysplasia and will need surgery. If you do not have compassion for animals then please do not respond. Thank you.

Hon, ask at your local Humane Society & see if they can help you.
As your beloved pet definitely needs socializing you will need expert help
Also there is Rescue Group that may be able to help you. I do not have a phone number for them but it is Best Friends of Kanaub Utah. Hopefully they can advise you and Best of Luck to you!

Question by Elle: I am looking for a pet wheelchair for a large dog. Please help.?
Hi Everyone,
Do you know of any charities, organizations, or people that give or loan pet wheelchairs? I have a large German Shepherd dog (14 years old) that is in great overall health besides his hips (hip-dysplasia) and the vet recommended a chair for him. Everywhere I have looked they are way too expensive for me to afford.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thank you so much!

Hi,
you can try ebay or craigslist, both websites have things much cheaper than stores.
